The Alcazaba Fortress is a Moorish fortress located on the hillside in Malaga Spain.
Early construction of the structure began around 711 AD however the majority of the castle was built between the 11th and 14th centuries.

Visitors can either climb a long step of stairs to the castle or take an elevator from just behind the Malaga Town Hall (Ayuntamiento).
The base of the Alcazaba Fortress is located next to the Roman Theatre.
