Gibralfaro Castle

Perched on the top of Monte de Gibralfaro in Malaga Spain, is the spectacular Gibralfaro Castle.

Visitors who are willing to hike up a long mountainside trail are rewarded with stunning views of the Malaga bullring and Costa del Sol.  On a clear day, one can actually see Africa!

The Gibralfaro Castle was built in the early 14th century by King Yusef I of Grenada.
